❖ Kavya Akkiraju from Pembroke Pines FL is a student in 9th grade. Kavya at age 10 was initiated into Carnatic Flute by Guru Late Sri Chaitanya Kumar, Bangalore who had taught her very well for four years.
❖ Kavya now continues to learn flute from Guru Sri Amit Nadig, Bangalore with whom she started to learn since last year.
❖ Guru Sri Sanjay Chandran, FL (Violin Vidwan) has recently started mentoring Kavya coaching her in creative aspects of music.
❖ Kavya also learns Carnatic vocal music from Guru Sri Sanjay Subramanian, St Louis.
❖ Kavya has participated in Advanced Level Carnatic workshops conducted by eminent artists like Smt. Shantala Subramanium & Smt. Dr Sudha Raghunathan.
❖ Kavya has been participating in cultural programs conducted at Shiva Vishnu Temple,FL for the past 10 years.
