Sahana Thayagabaluis a freshman at Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Florida. She began dancing at Rhythms School of Dance at the age of 6. Being an American-Indian, Bharatanatyam is how Sahana embraces her Indian culture. Currently, at the age of 14, Sahana continues to portray her passion for Bharatanatyam. Apart from dancing, she enjoys painting, sketching, and biking. Sahana believes that dancing has helped her express herself tremendously and has shaped her into the person she is today.
