We are a 5 piece band and we have been rocking for the past 5 years in the Delhi Music Scene. Though as a unit, we are new iun the music circuit, all the members of the band are very experienced in their respective fields. www.adithaprakash.com - Aditha is a Bharatanatyam performer and teacher trained in the Kalakshetra style under Guru Dr. M.R. Krishnamurthy (Kittu Sir), Bangalore for over 15 years. She has given several performances in India as well as Ohio. Having trained several students in Bengaluru, she wishes to continue spreading the art form.
Hindustani Classical Vocal
Aditi received training in Classical music and Rabindra Sangit from Late Shri Neel Madhab Sinha, direct disciple of Gurudeb Rabindranath Tagore. She then received training under Shri L.K. Pandit of the Gwalior Gharana in Delhi. In Mumbai she learnt Lt. Classical Music under Late Padmabhushan Smt. Shobha Gurtu for 14 years and accompanied the thumri quen for her performances all over India. She stood first in M.A. (Music) at Delhi University and M.Phil. (Music) from Delhi University in 1987 with distinction, on her subject , "Influence of Tappa on music of Bengal". Aditi has performed at several concerts in Mumbai- N.C.P.A., Dadar Matunga Cultural Centre, Kalabharati, Bhavan's Cultural Centre and also in "Purab Ang Gayaki Utsav" held in Delhi, Benares, Kolkata, and at "Yaadein Bismillah" in Benares and also have performed in Pune, Bangalore, Vadodara. She received a certificate of appreciation from Smt. Dirija Devi. She is a graded artist of A.I.R. and Doordarshan, Mumbai.
